	Notes: In December 2000, the world jazz community lost one of its most beloved heroes. Throughout his career, Milt Hinton, known to many as "The Judge", performed with hundreds of the greatest musicians and biggest stars in the world, from Bing Crosby to Barbra Streisand, Louis Armstrong to Quincy Jones, Sammy Davis Jr., Judy Garland, Harry Belafonte, Pearl Bailey, Cab Calloway; played every episode of Jackie Gleason's Honeymooners, and was a staff musician with all the major networks at one time or another. Chiaroscuro Records was fortunate to have a relationship with Milt Hinton, as both a sideman and a leader, that spanned the period from 1973 - 1995. This CD is a 77 minute compilation of some of The Judge's finest Chiaroscuro moments, and includes performances with Dizzy, Zoot Sims, Cab Calloway, Lionel Hampton, Ruby Braff, Joe Venuti, Jay McShann, Flip Phillips, Bucky Pizzarelli, Dick Hyman, Kenny Davern, Bob Wilber and many more. It includes previously unissued material, and proceeds from the sale of this CD will go to The Milton J. Hinton Scholarship Fund, Inc.
